I've only just started playing DD again after about 5-6 months, so I'm getting used to the changes. One could also increase the drop chance of The Blood if none of the above seem viable. If I could suggest a change, it would be that characters could only be infected at the Courtyard, only a few of the Bloodsucker type could actually infect a character (because it seems like most - if not all - of them have this ability), or the chance to be infected be very low per attack (like 5% or something). The only criticsm I have is that I am getting all of my characters infected, even without going to the Courtyard, and I'm not finding nearly enough Blood to keep them all satisfied. To be fair, I LOVE the CC mechanic - it allows you to treat your characters kinda like the Houndmaster (with the doggie treats), but they actually need the treats (The Blood). Pretty much any good or bad criticisms on the Darkest Dungeon DLC.ĭoes it seem like catching the Crimson Curse (CC) is extremely easy to anyone else? I sent a party into the Courtyard on week 3 and all of them got infected, though only 2 survived (luckily Reynauld and Dismas), and on week 4 I sent another team to the Warrens, only to have 3 of them infected.
